SYNLawn Austin is proud to announce that our artificial grass has made itself at home at the Witte Museum in San Antonio, TX. Our Austin team had the pleasure of lending assistance in installing nearly 4,500 sq ft of artificial grass for their new landscape inspired by the Fibonacci Sequence. In mathematics, the Fibonacci sequence is a sequence in which each number is the sum of the two preceding it. The golden ratio and spirals found in nature can be made by squaring these numbers. To bring this project to life, we utilized three of our turf options that offer unmatched durability, safety, and performance.
SYNLAWN® AUSTIN ARTIFICIAL TURF

- SuperDrain+™ technology provides an optimal drainage rate of up to 1,200 inches per hour
We are proud to be the first and only company in Austin, TX, to provide plant-based synthetic grass. We work closely with American farmers to replace harmful petroleum from our manufacturing process with renewable resources, including soybean oil and sugar cane. It is with their help that we can help our customers save water and significantly reduce carbon emissions.
SYNTIPEDE 243
SYNTipede 243 artificial turf features heavy-duty Omega-shaped blades and a low-profile pile height, which provide it with strength and resilience. Despite its simplistic look, this synthetic grass provides all the benefits of our premium products, such as delustered and UV-stabilized colors that provide long-lasting beauty and durability.
CLASSIC PITCH
Our Classic Pitch provides a heavy-duty construction for superior durability and is made with 100% nylon combined with HeatBlock™ technology to help keep surfaces up to 20% cooler than other turf options. It is ideal for playgrounds, golf courses, bocce ball, and more where heavy foot traffic is present.
SYNSPORT (VEGAS GOLD)
We utilized SYNSport in Vegas Gold to create the Fibonacci spirals featured in the Witte Museum’s landscape. This multi-purpose artificial turf is perfect for large indoor and outdoor applications, including golf courses and backyard play areas. It is also ideal for individuals searching for great performance and quality on a budget.
Ipema Certification
At SYNLawn Austin, safety is one of our highest priorities. Regardless of your application and who makes use of it, we aim to ensure that you will not have to worry about surface-related injuries. All the synthetic grass options featured in this project are IPEMA-certified and meet high commercial safety standards. We have tested these incredible turf options to meet proper fall height attenuations. This means that visitors to the museum will be safer from falls up to 10 feet, as well as common injuries and abrasions.
Class A Fire Rated Synthetic Turf
In 2016, our projects at the Cosmopolitan Hotel caught fire. The rooftop was saved thanks to our synthetic turf’s ability to prevent the spread of fire. This is because SYNTipede 243 is Class A fire-rated, the highest rating available for surface materials. To achieve this, synthetic grass must pass eight unique burn and melt tests. As a result, you can feel confident knowing that your installation will simply melt and blacken rather than serve as a catalyst for any accidental fire. With this in place, your property is less likely to suffer extreme damage, and it can help you avoid potentially fatal injuries.
